Switch Media Ltd is a young, energetic, & dynamic media organization that serves Africa’s youth. Fully owned by Kenya Red Cross Society, Switch airs on all our social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and on the websites. Our Digital Services include digital advertising and also website development. Switch Media Ltd is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual for the following position in the Digital & IT Department
Multimedia Content Intern
Qualifications:
- Ability to research, pitch, and develop original story ideas across news, features, human interest, lifestyle, business, and education
- Ability to produce high-quality content in text, video, and visual formats tailored for digital consumption
- Ability to conduct interviews, gather multimedia assets, and ensure factual accuracy and fairness in reporting
- Pursuing degree in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or related field
- Proven ability to produce and edit stories across multimedia formats (text, video, graphic, interactive)
- Basic filming skills including camera operation and lighting
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
