The role requires an expert who can equip learners with the strategic communication, crisis management, and stakeholder engagement skills needed in today’s digital-first media environment. Duties & Responsibilities
Teach the principles and practices of corporate communication, crisis management, and public affairs.
Guide learners in developing corporate communication strategies, crisis communication plans, and stakeholder engagement frameworks.
Facilitate simulations of media handling during crises and public advocacy campaigns.
Train students on digital and social media’s role in corporate and crisis communication.
Mentor students in creating professional press releases, speeches, crisis statements, and public advocacy materials.
Assess learners through case studies, presentations, and real-world scenario analyses.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or related field.
Proven industry or academic experience in corporate communication, crisis management, or public affairs.
Strong background in media relations, strategic messaging, and government/stakeholder engagement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of AI-driven communication tools for crisis monitoring, digital PR, and sentiment analysis.
Experience working with government institutions, NGOs, or corporate communication departments.
Professional membership with PRSK, CIPR, IABC, or similar bodies.
